- Please refrain from having sex for 24 hours prior to your checkup. Please do not rinse your genitals on the day of your checkup.
- This package includes intravenous blood sampling and urine sampling. Please do not urinate for 2 hours prior to your checkup in order to obtain more samples for laboratory testing.
- All results obtained would NOT be linked to E-Health system to ensure patients’ confidentiality.
- Please make sure you are not pregnant or at your menstrual cycle when getting tested.
- Only blood and urinal sampling are available for any female who has not had any sexual intercourse.
3-in-1: Oral, Genital and Anal Swab Test
Urine tests adopted in common urethritis examinations are highly accurate. However, if the infection is relatively mild, or if the urine test remains negative despite urethral discomfort, further tests can still be taken through the swab test. A swab test involves rubbing a swab against the tissues to be inspected, so as to obtain the tissue on the lesion for laboratory testing.
